Okay I'm trying

Who has time to Blog? Not me but I'm making an effort to keep up a little better. Layton just finished football today they won 30 to 12. Layton intercepted the ball twice and made the other team fumble once so he is excited about that. He is quite the sports fanatic. I hope he stays athletic. Tanner well he is a busy body enjoying doing everything his brother does. He wants to eat what Layton eats, drink what Layton drinks, he wants to play baseball and football like Layton. I think it is so cute and Layton is good good with him for the most part. I pray everyday that they will continue to have a good close relationship. I just finished a final and start two new classes wed. and Thursday next week. School is going well but very very busy. I'm looking forward to reaching the end. I'm loving it though and this is exactly where I needed to be. I'm getting A's and getting good feedback from the nurses' on the floors I have worked on, as well as my patients. So I know this is it.... Sean is still just as busy as ever at work, he did manage to hunt a couple of days but saw nothing so far deer wise, he did come home with a few birds however. Things are good and it is starting to get cold so we are anxiously awaiting for the snow to arrive. We love it. Hope all is well on all of your ends we miss you all very much. Take care. Sean, Michelle, Layton, and Tanner.

It Has been awhile

Hi all,
Hope you did not think we fell off the face of the earth. We did !!!! :) I have been so busy in school and Layton with baseball and now football and school. We get up running. Tanner keeps us running all day so that is nothing new. Sean is busy working and loving his job, we are lucky he is such a hard worker. We just got back from a mini vacation to Silverwood Northern Idaho Theme Park. We had a great time. The first day we spent at the waterpark and really enjoyed the day, except at the end of the day we went to turn in our tubes and I handed my tube to the man and turned around and no Tanner. I panicked and the world was spinning. Thankfully my mom and Sean had the smarts to go tell park personel that we could not find him and they helped us. It was the worst feeling I have ever had other than when my mom told me she had cancer. I could not breathe and my chest for the rest of the day hurt and felt like someone was sitting on it. I never want to go through that again. The next day we spent at the theme park riding rides, eating and enjoying the scenery. It was an absolute wonderful time, and it was so nice to get away. Thanks Mom and Dad Wally for taking us, it was a time we will treasure forever. We are home now trying to settle into our new schedule. Layton started school Wednesday and his football practices are tuesday through Friday with games on Saturdays. I start a new semester at school the 27th and I will be going Tuesday through Sunday so that should be interesting. All is well though just busy as ever. Hope you all are well and we do think of you all often. Take care. All our love. Michelle

Hello Kitchins!

Well.....I finally had time to make an account and join in all the fun! ha-ha
It was SO nice seeing you guys last trip into the "couve". Logan slept like a champ after all the fun he and Layton sneezed into every second they were together!!
I cry when they see each other and I cry when they hug good-bye! What a pair they are. They are two peas in a pod! Truly BFF!
People laugh when they hear we are considering a total move to another state just so we can keep them together! ha-ha And well you guys aren't half bad either! ha-ha
Now that baseball was getting wound down, we were going to get the house re-model finished..etc. and I will do me yearly FREAK OUT throw everything away! The house gets so cluttered during baseball season with the two kids schedules. Remember last year after I "cleaned" we had nothing......no pots, pans, bread maker, popcorn popper etc. AHHH the good days!
We will be seeing you this summer! Keep our room ready! Until next time our long lost friends.............. The RuBu Family xxoo

Long time no write

Hello everyone,

Sorry it has taken us so long to post a new Blog. We have been busy as usual. Layton, Tanner and I just got back from Vancouver. We were visiting my mom. Tanner was sick three out of the four days we were there. Go figure :) He is better now, except Layton is now barking like a seal. Layton just got news that he made All Stars so he is pretty excited about that. We had our first practice on Monday evening and we have practice Wednesday evening then games Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So as you can see it will not stop for awhile. All Stars will be over in July then swimming lessons then in August Layton starts Football. We are busy bodies. Sean has been working a lot of hours, 129 hours last pay period and this pay period he will have a minimum of 119 hours total. He is pretty tired. But he still loves his job. Tanner is still into everything, he enjoys doing anything his big brother is doing. He enjoys going to his brothers practices and his games except he wants to be playing too. He is having so much fun being outside without rain :) I'm just busy keeping the calendar organized. What else is there right? Hope all is well, will write more as more comes. Take care. Talk soon. Love, Michelle

Hi Guys

what a great way for us to keep in touch with you.

Love the photos of Tanner and Layton. Layton does look like he has the devil in him. Things are good here- spent sunday at Rachels with mom, steve, trista, Keslie, Kyla and Mike. We had a family bbq and spent some quality time together. Tianna went and spent the night at Steve and Trista's with the girls- she had a great time. They jumped on the trampoline, played house and watched Sweet Home Alabama.

Mike finally got his 2 year degree in Manufacturing Technology. We have been married for 4 years in August and it took him that entire time to get the degree- Im so proud of him- now he is wanting to get another 2 year degree in Cad Design.

Well, gotta get back to work.

Keep in touch

Love to all of you

Jen

Hello Everyone

I thought this might be a good way to keep in touch and to let you all know how everything is going here in the great state of Idaho. Sean is really liking his job at the railroad. He walks at least four to five miles a night and is really getting some good exercise. He does not like the shift but hopefully in September something will come open where he can work days. He is working swing right now so he goes to work about 2:15 pm and then gets home around 11:15 pm. Other than the shift he is really liking it. He has been very busy at our new house putting sprinkler systems in, building shelves, pouring a cement patio, and laying about 2800 square feet of sod in the back yard. So needless to say he is learning a lot and keeping very busy. I have been very busy keeping up with Sean and the children.. You know motherly-wife duties.. laundry, dinner, errands, cleaning house, bills, baseball practice and games, running a mile a minute after Tanner. He is a monster :) etc. etc. I officially finished the inside of the house getting things hung and unpacked and decorated. So I started on the outside and in the garage with Sean. I applied at Boise State University for the nursing program and I will hear hopefully sometime around October if I got in or not. It is looking pretty good as they go on a point system and how much experience you have had. Since I have approximately 15 years I am sitting pretty good. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my dream will finally come true and I will become a nurse. Layton is liking school, making new friends and doing very well with his coarse work. He is at a 4th grade reading level and he will be in third grade next year. We are very proud of him. He started baseball for his fourth season in February and is doing great. He has hit many triples and even a couple of home runs. He is mostly playing short stop this season and seems to be liking it. He starts swimming lessons in July for two weeks then off to football for the first time. Football this year is flag and his mom feels much better about this. Next year will be tackle so needless to say I hope he doesn't like football :) Tanner, well what can we say about him other that he is into absolutely everything. You cannot keep the kid out of anything. He is on the move 24/7 literally. He is such a character with his facial expressions and his attitude. He has a temper. HMMM.... wonder where he got that from? Any ideas?? He is so different from Layton and he loves to be a little bully to his big brother. Thankfully his big brother is very calm and very sweet and very patient otherwise I would go nuts. They both bring such joy in our lives and we would not change anything about them. Well I think I have written a book by now I guess I should save some information for next time. Hope everyone is well and we hope to see you all soon. Take care. Love and kisses from Sean, Michelle, Layton and Tanner Kitchin
